Inside the World of Type Beats: How Much Money Can You Really Make?

In This latest YouTube video, Dilly poses a question that many aspiring music producers are eager to have answered: how much can one make selling type beats? Several successful type beat producers share their experiences and offer valuable tips for building an online brand and making a living from selling type beats.

The producers emphasize the importance of consistency, having high-quality beats, and finding a unique niche that is not oversaturated. They also suggest experimenting with multiple channels to target keyword searches more effectively. Customer service is also highlighted as a crucial factor that can increase sales.

The producers advise against overthinking when making music and trying to be something you're not. One producer even recommends seeking therapy and practicing meditation to calm the mind and avoid reacting to negative feedback.

If they had to start over from scratch, the producers would focus on creating content for Instagram, TikTok, or other short-form video platforms and putting ads behind them. They would also find an artist whose music inspires them and try to recreate it in their own way, while posting at least three times a week on YouTube and running ads on the beats that get the most engagement.

While the most they've ever made in one month from selling beats ranges from $20,000 to $70,000, the producers stress that they no longer focus solely on the money. Instead, they prioritize making the best music possible and providing customers with the best possible experience.

In conclusion, this insightful video offers valuable advice for anyone looking to make a living selling type beats. By following the tips and strategies shared by these successful producers, aspiring music producers can build a strong online brand and achieve financial success while staying true to their unique style and vision.

The new requirements are that 500 subscribers, three public uploads in the last 90 days, and either 3,000 watch hours, three million YouTube short views, or a combination of both is needed for monetization. This change was made to make it easier for smaller channels to monetize. However, this does not mean that all monetization is being unlocked. Only some monetization is being allowed at this point. Super chats, channel memberships, super thanks, super stickers, and the ability to promote your own products with YouTube shopping are the current options for monetization. Ad revenue sharing is still not being unlocked until channels reach the previous requirements. This change is only rolling out to limited countries in the world. Some advantages that smaller starting-off YouTube channels have are small channel appeal and the ability to create a tribe of early supporters. Sma...
