What You Can Learn from Travis Scott's UTOPIA

Have you ever heard of Travis Scott? He's a really cool musician who went through a tough time a couple of years ago. His music festival called AstroWorld had a terrible accident, and people blamed him for not taking enough responsibility. But guess what? He didn't let that bring him down!

Travis Scott decided to focus on making new music and moving forward. He got help from some of the best music producers out there for his album called Utopia. And you know what? It turned out to be some of his best music ever!

What Makes Utopia Special?

In this awesome YouTube video, you'll learn about the creative production ideas behind Utopia. There are two really cool techniques used in the album's beats that make them unique.

1. Sample Reconstruction

Have you ever wondered how musicians create those catchy beats in their songs? Well, one way is by using samples. A sample is a small piece of music or sound that they take from another song and use in their own. But Travis Scott takes it a step further!

He breaks apart the samples and reconstructs them in a new way. He adds different effects to different parts of the sample to make it sound even cooler. It's like taking a puzzle apart and putting it back together in a different way!

2. Unique Drum Patterns

Another thing that makes the beats in Utopia stand out is the drum patterns. Usually, drums in songs follow a certain pattern that we're used to hearing. But Travis Scott likes to be different!

He uses unconventional drum patterns, which means he places the drums in unusual ways. He also adds dense hi-hat snares, which are those cool sounds you hear in the background. It all comes together to create a really unique beat!

Why Should You Care?

Now, you might be wondering why all of this matters to you. Well, it's because Travis Scott's approach to music production teaches us an important lesson.

He encourages us to try different things and be innovative in our own music. By thinking outside the box and taking risks, we can create beats that are totally unique and awesome, just like Travis Scott!

So, the next time you're making music or even doing something else creative, remember to be bold and try new things. You never know what amazing results you might get!

YouTube has announced that they have changed their requirements for monetization

Photo by cottonbro studio YouTube has announced that they have changed their requirements for monetization. The new requirements are that 500 subscribers, three public uploads in the last 90 days, and either 3,000 watch hours, three million YouTube short views, or a combination of both is needed for monetization. This change was made to make it easier for smaller channels to monetize. However, this does not mean that all monetization is being unlocked. Only some monetization is being allowed at this point. Super chats, channel memberships, super thanks, super stickers, and the ability to promote your own products with YouTube shopping are the current options for monetization. Ad revenue sharing is still not being unlocked until channels reach the previous requirements. This change is only rolling out to limited countries in the world. Some advantages that smaller starting-off YouTube channels have are small channel appeal and the ability to create a tribe of early supporters. Sma...
