Exploring the Moogerfooger MF-103S 12 Stage Phaser

12 Stage Phaser Plugin

A Unique Sound Experience

The Moogerfooger MF-103S 12 Stage Phaser is a special effects pedal that can make your music sound out of this world! It was first introduced in 1999 and was designed to create amazing sounds using two different functions: a voltage-controlled Phaser and a Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO).

The MF-103S is actually a reinvention of the classic MF-103 analog effects pedal made by Moog Music. This pedal was created by Bob Moog and his team of engineers, who wanted to bring the magic of the original Moog modular synthesizers to a smaller device that could be used with guitars, voices, synthesizers, and more.

Now, the MF-103S has been recreated as a plugin for your computer, so you can have all the cool features of the original pedal right at your fingertips!

Expanding on the Classic Moogerfooger Pedal

The MF-103S plugin offers some new and exciting features that you won't find on the hardware version:

Output Mode

This feature allows you to route the sound in stereo, just like the original pedal. You can create different effects by using the MAIN and AUX outputs.

LFO Type

The LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) is what creates the cool modulation effects. With the MF-103S, you can switch between a mono LFO or a second inverted LFO for stereo modulation. This means you can make your music sound even more interesting and unique!

Additionally, the MF-103S plugin has CV inputs for controlling different parameters like LFO rate, LFO amount, resonance, and phaser sweep. You can even modulate the two sections of six stages independently, giving you even more control over your sound.

The Sounds of the MF-103S 12 Stage Phaser Effect

The Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins are designed to transform your sound in many different ways. From clean filtering to experimental modulation, these effects can take your music to a whole new level. Each effect has its own distinct sound, and they can all work together to create something truly unique.

So, if you're looking to add some mind-bending effects to your music, the Moogerfooger MF-103S 12 Stage Phaser plugin is definitely worth checking out. Get ready to explore new sonic territories and unleash your creativity!
