Features
Speakers is a special plugin that can make your sound sound like it's being played by an old telephone, radio, or even a classic cabinet. You can also make it sound like it's being recorded by a vintage ribbon microphone or a toy recorder. How cool is that?
Speakers has lots of cool features. It has different effects like compression, distortion, and filtering. It also has a bunch of background noises that you can add to make your sound feel like it's in different environments. And the best part is, it doesn't make your sound delayed at all! No need for any special devices or dongles either!
Speakers features:
- 47 different types of speakers like cabinets, devices, phones, radios, and toys
- 30 different types of microphones like condensers, dynamics, phones, ribbons, and more
- 15 different distortion and degradation effects like carbon mic overdrive and GSM interference
- 35 different background noises like devices, places, and organic sounds
EQUALIZERS
If you click on the spanner button at the top left of either panel, you'll find a special tool called an equalizer. This tool helps you change the way your sound sounds by adjusting the different frequencies. You can make the sound have more bass or treble, or you can change the sound of specific parts of the sound. It's like having a magic knob to control the sound!
To use the equalizer, just drag the dots around to change the frequencies and volume. You can also scroll your mouse over a dot to change the way it affects the sound. If you want to start over, just double click on a dot and it will go back to its original position.
DISTORTION / DEGRADATION
Speakers also has some really cool effects that can make your sound sound distorted or degraded. This is great for when you want to give your sound a unique and edgy vibe. There are 15 different effects to choose from!
For distortion effects, you can choose from Carbon Mic, Classic Drive, Diode Clipper, Foldover, Soft Drive, Tape, and Valve. These effects can make your sound sound crunchy, fuzzy, or even like it's coming from an old tape recorder.
For degradation effects, you can choose from Bit Crusher, Clicks, Drops, GSM, Interference, Quantization, Robotization, and Telecom. These effects can make your sound sound glitchy, robotic, or like it's coming from a bad phone connection.
ROUTING
The Routing panel in Speakers is really cool because it lets you change the order of the effects. This means you can decide which effect comes first and which effect comes last. It's like being the boss of your sound!
- To change the order, just drag and drop the effects to where you want them to be.
- If you want to turn off an effect, just hold down the CMD or CTRL key and click on it.
- If you want to change where the sound enters the effects, click on the lock icon to unlock it and move it around.
So there you have it, a super cool plugin called Speakers that can make your sound sound like it's coming from all sorts of different speakers and microphones. Have fun experimenting with all the different effects and creating your own unique sounds!
